Customer Issue:

The client contacted Bridge-FM to report issues with a leaking small canopy roof, causing water to seep into the reception area below.

This leakage was not only disruptive but also posed a potential hazard to the building's interior.

Resolution:

Upon inspection, we identified the root cause of the problem: the roof gutters were clogged with debris, obstructing the drainage system and causing water to overflow into the building.

To address this, we promptly cleared the drains and thoroughly cleaned all gutters, ensuring proper water flow and preventing future leaks.

To prevent similar issues from arising again, we implemented a proactive solution by scheduling regular maintenance visits to conduct quarterly gutter clearances. This proactive approach aims to maintain the integrity of the roof system and prevent any recurrence of water leakage.

Additionally, while on-site, we took the initiative to clean the roof cladding, removing green residue and restoring its appearance to like-new condition. This not only resolved the immediate issue but also enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the building, providing added value to our client.
